In the early seventies, AMT advertised a link belt power shovel in their catalog. Did they ever produce it?

No it was never produced. It was slated to be stock number T816 but never made it to production just like the Ford/Gar Wood Refuse truck.

That is a shame that they never made one, I love that kind of stuff. You know what would be really cool is if they made a grader kit and a old Nortwest shovel kit and a Kenworth from the 50s vintage. That would be great, oh well always dreaming. Dave
